Instructor - Pulmonary and Critical Care - #Faculty
The Johns Hopkins University Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care is seeking a faculty physician who will, under the supervision of the Director of the Division of Pulmonary and Critical Care, administer medical care to patients in the outpatient and inpatient settings. This position will be hourly for 40 hours per week, or 1.0 FTE, to direct clinical care in underserved areas of the Baltimore Metropolitan Region. Work requires the analytical skills to collect information from diverse sources, apply professional principles in performing various analyses, and summarize the information and date in order to solve problems or design relatively complex systems and programs that cross departmental/division lines Work requires the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and provide empathy in difficult interpersonal situations. Collapse Description Any Specific Physical Requirements for the Job: + Lifting and/or carrying objects more than 50 pounds + Pushing and/or pulling non-motorized equipment weighing over 50 pounds + Stooping and bending + Reaching and grasping objects + Using a keyboard to interact with computer systems + Proofreading and/or reviewing documents Minimum Requirements: + Work requires a doctoral degree in internal or family medicine and a post-doctoral residency training program in Allergy and Clinical Immunology. + Work requires board certifications or eligibility in Internal Medicine and Allergy and Clinical Immunology + Work requires current, active licensure to practice medicine in all states, districts, and territories where work is to be performed, including but not limited to the State of Maryland, as well as current active licensure to prescribe medication (CDS, DEA) and up-to-date ACLS/BLS certification Salary: 120,000 - 140,000 Please contact Alex Eschenbach with questions at eeschen1@jhu.edu.
