JOB SUMMARY
As an Instructor you will assist in developing and implementing 18+ transition school, vocational training, and recreational programming for youth and adults with autism and other neurodivergent conditions that increases the likelihood of employment and independence. You will implement appropriate curriculum and daily activities, monitor students and foster student safety, and assist with other duties and programs as needed. Outside of school programming hours, you will administer vocational training assessments, provide job coaching at work experience sites, and support recreational programs and events as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
You're a great fit for this role if you have:
A bachelor's degree from an accredited university or associate's degree in education, psychology, social work, special education or Art/Music
2 years experience or more working with autistic and neurodivergent students.
Experience in arts and/or technology preferred.General knowledge of curriculum and instruction.
Compensation:
$20/hr
