Under the direction of full-time transplant hepatology faculty, this position provides outpatient medical services at the University of Colorado Hospital in the Liver Transplant Clinic as well as outreach clinics in the Denver metro area and mountain west region and telehealth across Colorado, Wyoming and New Mexico. The primary function of the position includes post-liver transplant management more than 90 days after transplant. This would include immunosuppression management. Additional responsibilities include lab review with nurse coordinators and clinical and medication management. This is a clinic-based practice. There may be exposure to communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation, medicinal preparations and other conditions common to the clinical environment. This role is expected to work both at the University of Colorado main campus, Lone Tree site in south Denver, Loveland site, and outreach clinics in Albuquerque and Grand Junction.
