Minimum Qualifications Earned master’s in organizational leadership, organizational studies or related field prior to start date. Experience leading organizations and building leadership capacity. College teaching experience.
Preferred Qualifications Doctorate in organizational leadership, organizational studies or related field, all but defended prior to start date. Demonstrated experience in program leadership, program development, and staff supervision. Experience with managing a program budget, policy development, student recruitment, and thesis supervision. Expertise in higher education administration. The ability to effectively communicate and collaborate. Active involvement in one or more professional associations.
Essential Functions and percent of time: Teaching 70%• Preparation for teaching assigned classes in organizational leadership, supervised practice, or special topics depending on expertise• Coordinate guest speakers or field activities• Track class membership, post grades and complete change of grade requests through WingsExpress• Post course materials and communicate with students through WSU Learning Management systems• Develop and teach asynchronous online courses designed by program team and approved by department chair• Teach classes as scheduled during daytime, evening, weekend, web-enhanced, and/or online• Communicate promptly with department staff regarding class scheduling, book orders, and program meetings• Participate in program team meetings and curricular initiatives• Meet with class or have online contact with students during scheduled Final Exam Timeblock• Submit course syllabi and hold office hours as required• Work with Department Chair and Program Directors to make timely curricular improvements or changes in courses.• Participate in professional development opportunities
