The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking an experienced and collaborative Instructional System Designer (ISD) to work with teams of linguistic Subject Matter Experts (SME) in creating training content for Advanced Foreign Language Training under the Red Rabbit Firm Fixed Price (FFP) Contract.  You’ll manage projects and the workflow of professional language instructors who will provide the resources for you to create and build advanced language training courses for delivery via Microsoft Word and Blackboard Learning Management System (LMS).   Additionally, you’ll review content to ensure quality control and track time spent to meet FFP delivery deadlines on all assigned projects.

Responsibilities:

A professional who is responsible for reviewing Government Furnished Information (GFI) and subsequently building a design plan and managing a team of SME’s to complete language training projects in accordance with the customer’s specifications within the time allotted under FFP guidelines. Responsible for collaborating with SMEs to develop advanced foreign language training materials.Interact with the customer and SMEs to ensure the accuracy of instructional content.Responsible for creating Training Guides, Lesson Plans, online content, video and audio recordings, and other documentation.Assign the collection and development of material needed to build Training Guides and other training materials.Review and copy edit all materials provided by the SMEs.Support team meetings and provide technical guidance to SMEs and weekly project feedback to the ISD Lead.

Qualifications:

Required: 

B.A./B.S. in Language, Area Studies, Education, Educational Technology, International Relations, or ISD;Experience as a military linguistMinimum five (5) years experience, within the last eight (8) years, in ISD, Educational Technology and education and training, involving: A minimum of one (1) year experience in face-to-face classroom ISD and development;A minimum of one (1) year experience in synchronous and asynchronous electronic classroom ISD and development;In lieu of the relevant bachelor’s degree an additional four (4) years of directly related, applied, practical experience for a total of nine (9) years in the language education or instructional design field may be substituted;Speaker with native American English capability.Experience using Blackboard LMS.Experience using Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Adobe Premier and Adobe Audition or similar audio/video software.Ability to practice good time management at both the personal and team managerial level.Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.Prior experience working on Government/Military Language Training Projects.

Desired:

Prior experience as a Defense Language Institute (DLI) trained military or government civilian linguist .SIGINT or Intelligence Community experience as a language analyst, language instructor or intelligence analyst.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$68,400-$143,700
