Join us and build _your_ ambition. **ABOUT THE ROLE** The instructional designer designs, develops, and delivers corporate and compliance training. The Instructional Designer will partner with business leaders to create employee programs that support specific learning needs and improve employee skills. They will use learning systems and vendor relationships to ensure programs are effective and align with company goals. **WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH** + The instructional design team will act as a center of excellence, partnering with functional leaders to provide high-quality, customized training. Our focus is on creating interactive, cost-effective content for all employees, using internal facilitation when possible, while occasionally utilizing third-party experts for specialized topics. + Use needs assessments to determine whether off-the-shelf or custom-designed solutions are best for the business. + Create interactive, cost-effective content for all employees, using internal facilitators when possible, while occasionally utilizing third-party experts for specialized topics. + Collaborate with stakeholders in departments like Finance, Safety, Legal, HR, and Marketing to meet compliance training needs and improve the employee learning experience. + Measure the effectiveness of training content using feedback and data. + Serve as the master user for the company's LMS (Learning Management System), managing content uploads and assignments. + Oversee learning vendor relationships and ensure high-quality service. + Deliver training in-person and virtually. + Support and coach internal facilitators and content creators. + Conduct “train the trainer” sessions with internal experts. + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. + Other responsibilities as assigned **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Education:** Bachelor's degree in instructional design or a related field **Additional Education Preferred:** Master's degree in instructional design, education, business, or a related field **Field of Study Preferred:** Instructional design, education, communications, journalism, business, cognitive science, technical writing **Required Work Experience:** 3-5 years in instructional design or a similar field **Required Technical Skills:** + Experience with e-learning authoring tools and learning management systems (LMSs) + Preferred: Proficiency with Articulate 360 + Preferred: Experience integrating artificial intelligence (AI) tools into curriculum design + Preferred: Proficiency with audio and video editing software + Preferred: Experience with learning management systems (LMSs) + Preferred: Facilitation experience **Travel Requirements:** Up to 15% **Additional Requirements:** + Experience designing and developing e-learning, virtual, and in-classroom programs + Proven effectiveness in collaborating cross-functionally and working with executive-level leaders and subject matter experts + Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously, meet deadlines, and work within allocated spending limits + Strong analytical skills for assessing capability gaps, evaluating course effectiveness, and crafting solutions + Ability to simplify complex concepts into digestible content + Outstanding written and verbal communication skills + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
