Instructional Designer
2830 North Grandview Boulevard, Pewaukee, WI 53072, USA | Training - 9935 | Full Time | Full-benefits package including medical/dental insurance options, PTO, 401(K), pet insurance, tuition reimbursement program, employee discounts, and more The Instructional Designer is responsible for developing engaging and effective learning experiences for internal and external audiences. This role designs, develops, and maintains training content across a variety of delivery formats, including eLearning, instructor-led training, blended learning, and webinars. Essential Duties and Responsibilities + Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders to assess training needs and support ongoing projects. + Manage timelines for new instructional design requests and content updates. + Apply instructional design theory to develop webinars, eLearning, instructor-led training (ILT), blended learning, videos, and job aids. + Design and update training materials for a variety of topics, including product, operations, technical training, and professional development. + Create and maintain content for Train-the-Trainer programs. + Facilitate webinars and instructor-led training sessions as needed. + Ensure training content supports adult learning principles and aligns with company standards. Education and Experience + Bachelor's degree in Instructional Design, Adult Education, Human Resources, or equivalent work experience. + Minimum of 1 year of experience designing and developing instructional content across multiple formats. + Proficiency with instructional design tools, including Articulate Storyline 360; experience with Camtasia, Captivate, and Photoshop preferred. + Basic understanding of HTML and Learning Management Systems (LMS), including course creation and reporting. + Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to manage multiple projects. + Familiarity with Google Workspace and Microsoft Office tools. + Knowledge of adult learning theories and instructional best practices.
