Instructional Design Intern

Overview:


The Instructional Design Intern will assist Malin’s training and development team in creating engaging learning programs that support our workforce and customer training initiatives. This role provides the opportunity to apply instructional design theory to real-world business solutions in the material handling industry.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Collaborate with subject matter experts to design and improve training content for Malin employees and customers.

Develop eLearning modules, presentations, job aids, and assessments that support Malin’s culture of safety, innovation, and customer service.

Update and modernize existing training programs to improve clarity and effectiveness.

Research and recommend instructional strategies and tools to enhance the learner experience.

Assist in evaluating training effectiveness and provide recommendations for improvement.

Qualifications:

Pursuing a degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, or a related field.

Knowledge of adult learning principles and instructional design practices.

Familiarity with eLearning authoring tools (Articulate, Captivate, or similar) preferred.

Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Ability to translate technical concepts into engaging, easy-to-understand learning.

Position is 100% onsite at our Malin office in Addison, TX.
