**Helper / Construction Laborer – Glass Installation Support** **Location:** Orlando, FL **Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM **Optional OT:** Saturdays, 8 hours **Pay:** **$15–$17/hr** (based on experience) **About the Role** We are seeking a reliable **Helper** to join our field team. In this role, you will ride with coworkers to various job sites (within a **2‑hour radius** ) to assist with loading, transporting, and assembling glass and related products. This is an excellent opportunity for someone from the general labor or construction field looking to grow long‑term within the industry. This position is **hands-on** , active, and ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and learning new skills. **No overnight travel.** **Responsibilities** + Assist team members with loading and unloading glass and materials + Support the assembly and installation of glass products at job sites + Safely use **hand and power tools** + Accurately **read a tape measure** for cutting, alignment, and installation tasks + Maintain a clean and organized work environment + Follow all safety procedures and team instructions + Travel with the crew to various worksites within a 2-hour radius **Requirements** + Experience using **hand and power tools** + Ability to **read and interpret a tape measure** + Ability to **lift and carry 50+ lbs** + Prior experience in **construction, general labor, or similar fields** is preferred + Reliable transportation to the Orlando shop + Strong work ethic and desire for long-term career growth **What We Offer** + Competitive hourly pay + Optional overtime opportunities + Monday–Friday daytime schedule + Opportunity to grow with a stable, skilled trades team + Hands-on training and development **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Orlando, FL. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $17.00/hr.
