We are looking for experienced, innovative and motivated IT Specialists to support enablement of USAREUR-AF and their Mission Partners mission objectives.

Installation Management Command-Europe (IMCOM-E) Rheinland Pfalz (RP) Mission Partner (MP) Lead/Cybersecurity Engineer, Senior. This position is in support of the USAEUR Mission Partner USAG RP located in Kaiserslautern, Germany.  This position is located OCONUS. 

 

Responsibilities: 

Single point of contact for USAREUR-AF IMCOM-E G3 requirements, responsible and accountable for contractual and technical performance, management, direction, administration, quality assurance, and leadership of the engineering and service delivery of the multiple complex intelligence and cybersecurity engineering and services solutions 

Provides overall leadership and guidance for all contractor personnel, including subcontractors, assigned to the IMCOM-E G3 services team, including assigning tasks to contractor personnel, supervising ongoing technical efforts, and managing overall performance of IMCOM-E G3 requirements 

Collaborates with the Mission Modernization and Innovation Team (M2IT) to tailor EMITS 2 standardized processes and procedures to meet IMCOM-E G3 requirements, including support for transition-in 

Develops and/or oversees the implementation of cybersecurity technologies, processes, and procedures with thorough knowledge of DoD and NSA cybersecurity processes and procedures, including the Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) Risk Management Framework (RMF) 

Designs and implements cybersecurity solutions, including security patch testing, conflict resolution, and perimeter-to-endpoint tools/sensor operation 

Analyzes complex security issues and develops effective solutions and incident response, including countermeasures in accordance with the USAREUR-AF Cybersecurity Incident Response Plan, to maintain cyber readiness, limit impacts, and improve the security posture 

Provides support for security incident response team requirements, including inspections, audits (e.g., Command Cyber Operations Readiness Assessment/Inspection (CORA/CCRI) audits), policy review, strategy development, and recommendations 

Coordinates with Government Authorizing Officials (AOs) and Information System Security Managers (ISSMs) and other Government cybersecurity offices and agencies, including for external inspections and assessments 

Conducts risk assessments and Security Assessment and Authorization (A&A) activities and creates security documentation, including accreditation packages for classified and unclassified networks, information systems, PDS, and circuit connections 

Prepares and/or oversees testing and evaluation reports, artifacts, risk assessments and finding reports, POA&Ms, Risk Management Framework (RMF) scorecards, and security assessment reports 

Manages a specific project or projects assigned by the PM or the Government, including project requirements, scope, budget, schedule, and performance 

Monitors, adjusts, and reports on performance, budget, and schedule and provides interim progress reviews to the Government on an as-needed basis 

Assists with proposing, implementing, and enforcing Government policies, standards, and methodologies and is responsible for either developing or supervising the preparation of T&E visit in-briefs, out-briefs, Risk Assessment Working Group (RAWG) actions, studies, reports, and acquisition documents 

Possesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments 

Possesses and applies a comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high-impact assignments 

Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments 

May supervise others  

 

Qualifications: 

Required:  

Currently hold an adjudicated Top Secret Clearance with SCI eligibility 

BA/BS +8-12 years of experience 

Certification - CASP+ or CCSP or Cloud+ or CSSLP or GSEC 

Possesses expertise in cybersecurity engineering and practices, with advanced skills in cybersecurity incident response and risk assessment. 

 Extensive knowledge of DoD and NSA cybersecurity processes and tools, including the eMASS, RMF, and A&A activities and requirements.  

Exhibits strong leadership skills in managing complex cybersecurity projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and aligning security efforts with organizational objectives.  

Demonstrates proficiency in developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and technical documentation for high-security environments.  

Excels at stakeholder management, including collaboration with Government officials, internal teams, and external agencies.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$108,400 - 227,500 USD
