Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inspector - Marine / Quarry to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections of marine structures, vessels, quarry operations, and related equipment to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.

Perform comprehensive inspections of marine structures, vessels, and quarry sites to identify potential safety hazards and quality issuesUtilize specialized inspection equipment and tools to assess the condition of materials, structures, and machineryAnalyze inspection findings and prepare detailed reports, including recommendations for corrective actionsEnsure compliance with local and international safety regulations and industry standardsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to address identified issues and implement improvementsMaintain accurate records of all inspections, findings, and follow-up actionsStay updated on the latest inspection techniques, safety regulations, and industry best practicesParticipate in safety meetings and contribute to the development of safety protocolsConduct regular quality control checks on quarry materials and marine equipmentProvide technical guidance and support to operational teams as needed

QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Marine Science, or a related fieldMinimum 3-5 years of experience in marine or quarry inspectionRelevant industry certifications (e.g., API, ASNT) preferredIn-depth knowledge of marine and quarry inspection techniquesStrong understanding of safety regulations and quality control standardsProficiency in using various inspection equipment and toolsExcellent report writing and communication skillsAbility to read and interpret technical drawings and specificationsStrong problem-solving and analytical skillsExperience with quality control processes in marine or quarry environmentsUnderstanding of marine structures, vessels, and equipmentKnowledge of quarry operations and materialsWillingness to travel to various inspection sites as requiredPhysical ability to perform inspections in challenging environmentsAttention to detail and commitment to maintaining high safety standards
