Knowledge and Skills:
+ Performing appropriate sampling plan per customer requirements
+ Dimensional Inspection and Acceptance
+ Visual Inspection and Acceptance
+ Receiving Inspection and Acceptance
+ Review of 3rd Party Certification of Compliance Documentation
+ Supporting Quality in the recall of gages and tools
+ Review of Manufacturing Router
+ Prepare quality documentation including but not limited to dimensional inspection reports and logbooks for product acceptance
+ Prepare non-conformance reports for Quality and Engineering evaluation
+ Use hand tooling such as micrometers, microscopes, calipers, and thread gages
+ Use sampling plans, drawings, work instructions, industry standards and specification to verify conformance of product acceptance.
+ Other duties and/or responsibilities may be performed as part of cross-training or employee development plan.
+ Basic computer skills for entering and accessing databases and spreadsheets
Basic Qualifications:
+ Four years related quality experience or training in accordance with the defined skills training matrix progression; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ Proficient and able to train others in First Article requirements per AS9102
+ Know and understand Federal Aviation Administration requirements and impacts on the business
+ Prior experience in a Quality Inspector role
+ Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals
+ Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
+ Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
+ Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
+ Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
