Knowledge and Skills: + Performing appropriate sampling plan per customer requirements + Dimensional Inspection and Acceptance + Visual Inspection and Acceptance + Receiving Inspection and Acceptance + Review of 3rd Party Certification of Compliance Documentation + Supporting Quality in the recall of gages and tools + Review of Manufacturing Router + Prepare quality documentation including but not limited to dimensional inspection reports and logbooks for product acceptance + Prepare non-conformance reports for Quality and Engineering evaluation + Use hand tooling such as micrometers, microscopes, calipers, and thread gages + Use sampling plans, drawings, work instructions, industry standards and specification to verify conformance of product acceptance. + Other duties and/or responsibilities may be performed as part of cross-training or employee development plan. + Basic computer skills for entering and accessing databases and spreadsheets Basic Qualifications: + Four years related quality experience or training in accordance with the defined skills training matrix progression; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Proficient and able to train others in First Article requirements per AS9102 + Know and understand Federal Aviation Administration requirements and impacts on the business + Prior experience in a Quality Inspector role + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating instructions, and procedures manuals + Ability to write routine reports and correspondence + Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent. + Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. + Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
