**Job Description:**
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented **Civil Inspector (Landscape)** to join our team in Green Riyadh Program. The SOW includes the construction of irrigation water tanks, irrigation networks, softscape, hardscape, and planting in 7 neighborhoods within Riyadh City.
**What You'll Be Doing:**
+ Attend Inspection Requests (IRs) submitted by the contractor and take appropriate action promptly.
+ Review submitted shop drawings against contract drawings and specifications, local codes and statutory requirements, and international best practices.
+ Report any works carried out by contractors found to not be in accordance with approved drawings and specifications and report to stakeholders for appropriate action.
+ Monitor the quality of irrigation works.
+ Maintain records for daily activities on site including progress photos and ensure they are readily available for inspection as and when required.
+ Prepare surveillance report(s) for deficiencies of work found at the site and nonconformance reports (NCR) if required in view of the development of events.
+ Check and ensure effective coordination between discipline-related works and all other disciplines.
+ Provide technical input and experiences to resolve any discipline-related issues on-site that may arise.
+ Inspect site conditions to ensure suitability for the designed landscape works.
+ Give practical advice on site conditions and execution matters.
+ Inspect construction works to ensure compliance with approved methods and contract requirements.
+ Maintain records of inspections, work executed, etc.
+ Assist in or measure work done when required.
+ Observe site safety procedures.
+ Assist in the preparation of “as-built” drawings.
+ Assist with the inspection of completed works, prepare punch lists, and handover to the operating authority.
**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**
+ Must have a Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University plus 7 years’ experience onLandscaping Projects.
+ Excellent written and oral communication skills.
+ Knowledge of current Civil Engineering Technology and its effective use on the project. Construction of large civil/structural and/or industrial projects.
+ Experience in Inspections of work and Review of contractors' shop drawings.
+ Experience in Microsoft Applications. Familiar with project management tools and/or software.
