Essential Responsibilities

Perform product inspection and tests according to established procedures, using gauging, visual and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) techniques, as requiredClearly write non-conformance reportsAudit procedures and documentationAssist in providing recommendations for corrective actionsUse color code system for material identification, as requiredAchieve and maintain NDT level II certificationInterface with team members including engineering, quality, operators, and customer representativesPerform material handling duties as required [fork truck operation may be required]Safely perform required rigging tasks and lifts using cranes and related equipmentCommunicate effectively (both written and oral) and work well with othersMaintain accurate written and computer recordsRead and understand engineering drawings and specificationsUse gauging equipment as required for the positionPerform calculations as required for the positionUse computers as required for the positionPerform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

2-year post-secondary degree in Machine Tool Technology or Welding Technology and basic computer knowledge and experience, OR Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar position of inspection and/or NDT requiring the use of prints, gauges, and quality forms and basic computer knowledge and experience

Eligibility Requirements:

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs and wear PPE (safety glasses, gloves, hearing protection, etc.) with or without reasonable accommodation.Flexibility: Willingness to work B shift (3:30 PM - 2:00 AM; Monday - Thursday).


Pay Rate: The starting pay for this position is $28.8990.  This position is also eligible for the 10% of base wage Night Shift Bonus (NSB). This posting is expected to close Sept 1st, 2025.
