Our EPC contractor client is seeking an experienced Inspection Coordinator to support supplier quality management and surveillance programs to ensure effective implementation and compliance. This is an office based role, located in Surrey, for a 6 month initial contract.
Role Overview
Act as project level Focal Point for the Supplier Inspection process. Develop and implement the project Inspection Plan and Program. Identify key inspection requirements and clarify the inspection scope for supplier packages. Participate in Kick-off Meetings, lead Pre-inspection meetings, and attend critical inspection stages as per approved ITP. Review supplier ITP and ensure completeness of manufacturing data records. Prepare Look Ahead Schedule and Monthly Project Inspection reports for submission to client. Liaise and interface with client quality representatives as required. Work closely with suppliers to understand quality requirements and meet project expectations. Facilitate Supplier Performance Evaluation as required. Manage administration of Inspection resources and close out all Source Inspection assignments. Lead NCR investigations and root cause analysis on supplier quality anomalies. Undertake surveys and audits of manufacturing facilities where necessary. Manage & coordinate 2nd party service providers' inspection activities and review received inspection reports. Promote HSSE and Quality Culture within company and external interaction parties.Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience in supplier quality management. Knowledge of Non-Destructive Examination techniques. Strong background in quality assurance processes. Demonstrated track record in delivering multifunctional projects.Education & Experience
Relevant degree or equivalent experience in quality assurance or engineering. Certifications: CSWIP/AWS, ASNT Level II, NACE Level II, API certifications (advantageous but not essential); ISO9001:2015 Lead Auditor certification (advantageous but not essential). Demonstrable experience in the oil & gas industry, overseeing suppliers.Pay & Benefits
