Amazon seeks a high-judgment, creative, and self-motivated internal communications specialist to join the Operations Internal Communications (OIC) team. This is an exciting opportunity to join an established team with a global remit, focused on supporting research and insights initiatives, global sustainability campaigns, and adapting content for Canada as well as our fast-emerging Latin America (LATAM) markets in Mexico and Brazil.
As the Insights and Campaigns specialist, you will provide critical North America support while serving as the regional expert who brings global campaigns to life with local resonance for LATAM. You'll work at the intersection of global strategy and regional execution, building our understanding of what matters most to operations employees across multiple geographies. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues, moving quickly to deliver large-scale global communications plans while ensuring local impact. They will be passionate about creating internal communications that are employee-focused, based on audience research and insights from our global research programs, and have clear, measurable outcomes rooted in a data-driven approach.
Key job responsibilities
Work closely with OIC colleagues in North America, Mexico, Brazil, and globally to support end-to-end implementation of campaigns with a particular focus on adapting global content for LATAM and Canada audiences
Support the OIC Research, Insights, and Strategic Campaigns global lead to ensure content is utilized, meets the needs of regional teams, and delivers globally consistent experiences for operations employees wherever they work
Develop and deliver tactics for North America global and regional campaigns, including acting as regional point of contact for global sustainability campaigns
Adapt and localize global campaigns for Mexico and Brazil, ensuring content resonates with local audiences across our tentpole moments, safety, sustainability campaigns
Collaborate with global OIC teams to land localized content during campaigns that support OIC content pillars
Support fast-moving communications that ladder up to global goals
Collaborate, as needed, with the broader OIC team on large communications initiatives and business priorities
Be an employee experience advocate through all communications strategies and decision-making
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, or a related field
- Experience in English-language communication skills, both written and verbal
- 3+ years of relevant professional experience in communications
- Proven ability to roll up your sleeves and get work done
- High attention to detail, including ability to manage multiple, competing projects and priorities simultaneously
- A track record of working effectively in an international environment with people across a large, complex, matrix organization to create and launch innovative, successful solutions
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience communicating complex concepts clearly and persuasively to different audiences
- Experience that includes strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and effective communication abilities
- Experience managing complex and fast-moving issues
- Comfortable dealing with ambiguity and ability to form cohesive and effective outcomes.

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
