Insight Analyst Sr

**DESCRIPTION**
The Senior Insight Analyst is responsible for assisting the Insight Team with report creation, maintenance, and development of Insights for the company and client. Additional support will be offered via a variety of methodologies. The incumbent must possess advanced critical thinking and time management skills. The incumbent must be adaptable, and able to quickly learn new systems and process. The incumbent must have Category Management and CPG experience. This position will report to the Business Insight Manager.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
+ Advanced Analytics on a variety of Internal, Retailer, and Syndicated Data
+ Insight Report creation and maintenance
+ Internal systems maintenance
+ Support insight team with day-to-day procedures
+ Support field and client teams
+ Support business growth in an ever-changing environment
+ Meeting the physical requirements – listed below
+ Other duties as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**
Education
+ High School Diploma/GED
+ Bachelor’s Degree(preferred)
+ Bachelor’s degree in Math/Science/Business preferred.
+ Vocational or technical training in retail analysis or insight analysis preferred.
Work Experience
+ 1 – 3 years of related experience.
Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities
+ Must have Category Management and CPG experience.
+ Advanced level of proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Sharepoint)
+ Proficiency with Data Visualization and Analytics Programs such as Power BI
+ Working knowledge of Circana and Nielsen Discover.
+ Must be able to use logic and reasoning to diagnose issues and form creative solutions.
+ Must be able to manage workload, multitask, and meet tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.
+ Proactively seek better ways of working to improve the team’s productivity and efficiency.
+ Ensures communication to/with the client is always timely, efficient, and accurate.
+ Demonstrates confidence and forward-thinking to proactively identify areas for improvement and suggest new procedures.
+ Ability to take on all aspects of the role and own it, reacting positively to changes in the workplace as they occur.
