Are you passionate about making a difference within the Life Science segment? If so, you might be the person we are looking for! Join us as Technical Sales Specialist (m/f/d) Inside Sales Biological Sciences to cover our Research Sera Portfolio in France.


This is a great opportunity for a BSc/MSc/PhD specializing in Biological Sciences and with sales experience, who is eager to apply their technical expertise to drive business growth within the designated portfolio. The role requires a solid understanding of the subject matter and outstanding interpersonal skills to engage with customers and enhance business through remote and face to face customer connections. Field activity with customers may be up to 20% of the time.

You will play a key role in advancing business development of the cell culture consumables portfolio - promoting the uptake of novel offerings and advancements, gaining market share from competitors, sustaining current business and fostering customer relationships, and establishing yourself as a technical authority among the sales team. You will collaborate closely with other internal sales teams and channel distribution partners to drive an efficient sales process, and continue to build on the success of your given sales territory.

What will you do?

Apply your extensive knowledge of cell culture procedures to see opportunities for presenting our products and solutions to customers and driving sales of the Cell Culture portfolio within these accounts.Apply detailed knowledge of Professional, Consultative, and Strategic Selling skills to maintain existing business, nurture additional business in existing accounts, and carry out cold calls to explore new opportunities.Demonstrate outstanding sales abilities through phone, email, and in-person interactions with clients, dedicating up to 20% of working hours in the field.Participate in sales training programs as presented by the company to develop appropriate selling skills consistent with the Company philosophy, policies and proceduresDevelop, write, and implement a strategic business plan for managing effectively your assigned territory, and review on a regular basis.Deliver presentations to customers promoting new products and services. Host and assist product shows either at assigned accounts or locally on a routine basis such as semi annuallyMaintain and increase current customer database through Company customer relations management software (Safesforce.com)Use data sources to analyze and capitalize on territory opportunities with the greatest return on investmentStay informed about competitor activities, trends, and changing customer needs and prioritie.Attain or exceed assigned sales goals, profit goals, and market share goals consistently within expense guidelinesSupport marketing programs and programs in other territories as assigned by the Manager


How will you get here?

Minimum BSc within Life Sciences requiredFluent in English Experience from a sales function in relevant industry preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong capabilities to interact effectively with all customer typesAbility to manage time effectively to prioritize and complete tasks requiredDemonstrate a positive attitude and desire to succeedExhibit a high degree of flexibility in adapting to a constantly evolving business environmentDigital literacy in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and similar programs required
