A company in the North Houston/Spring area is seeking an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative for a contract to hire role. This will be an in-office role working 9AM-5PM, Monday-Friday (will have one day off during the week) and 8AM-3PM on Saturday (off every Sunday). Position Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Customer Service & Inside Sales Support Specialist to join our close-knit team. The ideal candidate will serve as the first point of contact for our customers, providing excellent service while assisting in sales-related tasks, order processing, and administrative support. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow with a small business and make a direct impact on our operations.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Customer Support: Answer phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries, addressing customer questions, needs, and concerns about trailer parts and services.
+ Inside Sales: Support sales efforts by helping customers identify the products they need, providing quotes, upselling relevant accessories, and processing orders.
+ Order Management: Handle customer orders from start to finish, including order entry, tracking, and ensuring timely delivery.
+ Administrative Tasks: Maintain accurate customer information in our database, manage invoicing, and assist with inventory management.
+ Collaboration: Work closely with sales, warehouse, and management teams to ensure smooth operations and excellent service delivery.
Requirements
Qualifications:
+ Previous experience in customer service or inside sales (trailer, automotive, or related industries a plus).
+ Strong communication skills—both written and verbal.
+ Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail.
+ Familiarity with inventory/order management software is preferred.
+ Ability to multitask and thrive in a small-business environment.
+ A team-player mindset with a willingness to support colleagues and take initiative.
