**Location:** Bolingbrook, Illinois (onsite)
**Salary range:** $81K/yr to $108K/yr

**Company Overview:** Crane Nuclear is a Business Unit within the Process Flow Technology Business Segment of the Crane Corporation, a US multi-national company that specializes in highly engineered industrial products in niche markets. Crane Nuclear provides valves, valve parts, valve testing products, and valve maintenance/testing services to domestic and international commercial nuclear power customers. Crane Nuclear features recognized valve brands and is an industry leader in valve diagnostic technology and valve maintenance/testing scope-based process-driven services.
**Position Overview:**
The Inside Sales Specialist position provides support to the Nuclear, Commercial, and New Plant Construction (NPC) product channels. This role receives and processes customer inquiries, orders, and/or concerns for spare/repair parts, including pricing, product availability, schedule information, and suggesting alternate products to meet customer needs. Regular follow-up and handling expedited requests are requirements for the role.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Prepare quotations, bids, and estimates following the Crane Nuclear offer process and standard work instructions (SWI).
+ Compile a cohesive quote package with all supporting technical documentation and historic pricing as applicable.
+ Develop pricing, product availability, and schedule information. For products that do not have standard pricing, work with Operations to determine the cost.
+ Obtain approval as required for pricing and/or shipment profit, as required by Crane Nuclear LOA policy.
+ Support customer procurement and negotiations. In situations where price or lead time is prohibitive to a customer, in conjunction with appropriate personnel, develop a pricing and/or lead time strategy to win the order.
+ Suggest alternate products to meet customer needs.
+ Establish and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in all sales transactions. Maintain an ongoing relationship with customers.
+ Follow up weekly with customers on open quotes. Determine the reason for quotes that do not become orders and update all required documentation and electronic files.
+ Receive and process customer orders. Review all customer orders for pricing, lead time, terms and conditions, and Export Compliance. Resolve any issues.
+ Consistently meet or exceed order goals.
+ Update and maintain Visual Management on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Problem solves as necessary, finding root cause(s) and implementing countermeasure improvement actions.
+ Participate in Crane Business System activities to drive or support continuous improvement.
+ Additional duties assigned by the Inside Sales Manager.
**Qualifications/Experience:**
+ BS/BA in technical or business field highly desired.
+ Minimum of two years of experience in Inside Sales related role.
+ Minimum of two years of experience with valves, pumps, and/or related mechanical or technical industry required.
+ Thorough knowledge of PC operation, specifically utilizing Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Must have good organizational, time management and typing skills and shall be proficient with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
+ Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
+ Excellent Customer Service focus.
+ Must be highly accurate, highly motivated individual with good attention to detail.
+ Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary range: $81K/yr to $108K/yr. Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications.
