Inside Sales Representative
Job Title: Inside Sales Representative Job Overview: The Inside Sales Representative manages customer inquiries, processes quotes and orders, and collaborates with internal departments to enhance customer satisfaction. This role also handles key tasks for efficient sales operations, such as inventory management and ensuring data consistency across systems. Additionally, this position is vital for maintaining internal controls and contributing to process improvements. Key Responsibilities: Customer Service: Respond to basic product inquiries from customers Prepare and submit quotations Process and confirm customer orders Organise delivery and invoicing Delivery Management: Set and manage delivery dates for customer orders Take appropriate action in case of potential delivery delays System and Data Management: Accurately input data into company systems Ensure data consistency and integrity across multiple systems Regularly audit data for accuracy and completeness Inventory Management: Regularly check required inventory levels Maintain appropriate stock levels Coordinate with procurement for timely replenishment Internal Collaboration: Effectively coordinate with sales, technical, and finance teams Share information to provide seamless customer service Process Control and Compliance: Adhere to established internal control procedures Maintain proper documentation for all transactions Identify and report any deviations from standard processes Participate in internal audits and control assessments Process Improvement: Continuously monitor and evaluate business processes Propose and implement efficiency improvement suggestions Collaborate in developing and updating standard operating procedures Reporting and Analytics: Prepare regular reports on sales activities, order status, and inventory levels Analyze data to identify trends and potential issues Office Administration: Perform general office administration duties Additional Duties: Participate in various projects as needed Perform additional tasks assigned by your supervisor or manager. Required Qualifications and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data management Capacity to handle multiple tasks simultaneously Problem-solving skills and analytical thinking Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office products (especially Excel) Experience with ERP systems is a plus Strong teamwork and collaboration abilities Customer-oriented mindset Understanding of business process management concepts
