Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree 3+ years of work experience in sales, account management, and/or customer service in equivalent industry Understanding of metals processing, basic supply chain management, and general manufacturing. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States.  Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire.  Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Howmet Aerospace is looking for an Inside Sales/Customer Service Representative to join our team in Cleveland, OH.  This role manages relationships between customers and Howmet Aerospace through day-to-day tasks as listed below.

 

Responsibilities:

Provides timely, professional communication and service to assigned customers using appropriate processes and communication channels Qualifies leads from prospective customers through intercompany communication  Receives, responds to, and routes requests for quotations Receives, enters, and edits sales orders accurately based on company procedures Answers inquiries regarding open orders Collaboratively works with Account Manager and Credit Department to collect Accounts Receivable  Receives, responds to, and routes requests for technical information, material certifications, and quality concerns  Continuously seeks improved techniques for performing job duties and engages with peers to learn and share best practices as they emerge Maintains full compliance with Company policies and procedures and conducts all activities in accordance with the company Code of Conduct Ensures that all work activities are performed in accordance with established safety and environmental standards Performs other duties as assigned
