Inside Sales Representative
Description We are looking for a dedicated Inside Sales Representative to join our Client team in McHenry, Illinois for a Warehouse Distribution Center. This role is integral to ensuring smooth communication between our operations and customers, while maintaining excellent service standards. The position focuses on building strong relationships with clients and supporting various operational and administrative tasks. Compensation: $60k-$65k Monday-Friday – Onsite 7:30am-4:00pm Benefits: Medical, and Dental 10 days PTO, 10 paid holidays, 5 sick days Responsibilities: • Act as the key point of contact for customers, addressing their needs and ensuring satisfaction through effective communication. • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with customers by fostering trust and open dialogue. • Prepare and issue accurate quotations for new orders based on customer requests. • Maintain and update trackers while leading review meetings to ensure operational efficiency. • Process customer orders, place internal purchase requests, and monitor on-time delivery performance. • Coordinate operations review meetings with customers to address concerns and improve service. • Manage inventory levels to balance sufficient supply with the avoidance of excess stock. • Schedule and oversee incoming shipments from international sourcing locations and outgoing shipments to customers. • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance operational processes. • Assist with warehouse duties Requirements • Proven experience in customer service or a related field. • Strong skills in order entry and handling inbound and outbound calls. • Ability to prepare customer quotes and manage key accounts effectively. • Experience with inventory management and scheduling shipments. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build customer trust. • Proficiency in organizing and chairing operational review meetings. • Capability to multitask and manage administrative responsibilities alongside operational tasks. • Forklift operation experience or willingness to learn is preferred.
