Job Description
We are seeking an Inside Sales Representative to manage quoting, invoicing, and opportunity management processes. This role involves recording and maintaining sales opportunities, preparing quotes for parts, lab, and field service opportunities, and ensuring completed work is invoiced properly. The successful candidate will also engage in customer service, government sales coordination, trade show management, and administrative support.
ResponsibilitiesPrepare and issue quotes for parts, lab, and field service opportunities.Ensure all completed work is properly invoiced to the customer.Record and maintain small opportunities in Zoho CRM and attach relevant documents to corresponding opportunities.Send Sales Acknowledgements for all orders.Regularly follow up on ISR-managed opportunities to ensure movement through the sales pipeline.Submit a Monthly Opportunity Report to the Director of Sales, including new opportunities, closed (won/lost) opportunities, and status updates on active opportunities.Proactively contact customers to assess satisfaction and offer assistance.Conduct follow-up calls after project delivery and commissioning to gather feedback.Issue and track Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs).Maintain detailed inventory documentation, including serial numbers and QC packets for each order.Serve as GSA Coordinator for government-related sales activity and monitor SAM.gov weekly for relevant federal contract opportunities.Coordinate all aspects of trade show participation, including registration, logistics, and promotional materials.Provide backup support for incoming sales and service phone calls.Essential Skills2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or related experience.Proficient in CRM systems (preferably Zoho).Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Strong attention to detail and organizational ability.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience within a manufacturing organization.Experience working with GSA/SAM.gov preferred.Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.Sales-driven mindset with a focus on relationship-building.Customer-first attitude and proactive problem solving.Strong documentation and follow-through skills.Effective team player with the ability to work independently.Comfort with trade show planning and logistics.Work Environment
This role is based onsite in Newton, five days a week. The office has a laid-back environment and dogs are often present, so comfort with dogs is essential. The role involves collaborating closely with remote colleagues who visit the office weekly, as well as working with the CEO.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $27.00 - $31.25/hr.
