Position Profile

The Inside Sales Professional is responsible for engaging existing Ricoh accounts with a focus on customer retention and expanding Ricoh’s product and service offerings. This is a 100% telephone-based sales role requiring a minimum of 30 outbound calls or activities per day. Accurate and timely documentation of opportunities in the RForce system is essential. The role may expand to include additional responsibilities such as ZBA, lead generation, or other projects.

Key Responsibilities Drive sales in the SMB customer segment through outbound telephone-based selling. Make a minimum of 30 outbound calls/activities daily. Focus on retaining existing customers and expanding Ricoh’s equipment and service footprint. Apply customer-focused selling techniques, effective communication, and objection handling. Deliver prepared sales messaging to describe products and services. Provide professional, courteous, and efficient customer service. Meet or exceed revenue and placement goals for equipment and services. Maintain accurate records of account activity in the RForce sales database. Serve as the first point of contact for customers. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related sales environment. Minimum of 2 years of successful B2B telephone-based account management and development experience. At least 6 months of Ricoh sales experience. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Strong understanding of sales methodologies and processes. Ability to follow instructions and think independently. Coachable and accountable. Self-motivated with consistent drive. Effective team player. Strong negotiation, written, and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated business acumen and account planning capabilities. Excellent time management and organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer skills. Working Conditions & Demands Typical office environment with standard lighting, ventilation, and noise levels. Regular communication with team and department. Diverse work assignments with frequent problem-solving and innovation. Involvement in high-pressure situations requiring resilience. Primarily sedentary work with occasional walking, standing, bending, and lifting. Moderate dexterity required for tools such as calculators, keyboards, telephones, and headsets.
