We are seeking a dedicated Inside Sales Assistant to manage quotations, inquiries, and order management for both domestic and export orders. This position is essential in supporting our sales efforts and contributing to the growth of our company.
ResponsibilitiesReview customer inquiries and prepare quotations in coordination with Product Engineering and Production Planning & Purchasing.Check inventory availability and obtain freight quotes and vessel schedules if necessary.Ensure all documents are filed properly in compliance with current ISO 9001 standards.Review and verify Purchase Orders to ensure alignment with quoted terms for both domestic and export orders.Enter orders into the system and verify delivery feasibility with Production Planning.Negotiate delivery changes with sales representatives or customers as needed.Confirm order details and send order acknowledgments.Ensure full compliance with export control regulations.Track production status to ensure timely delivery and arrange shipments using appropriate carriers.Obtain freight quotes and prepare all necessary shipping documentation.Identify and coordinate solutions for issues affecting design, delivery, or customer requirements.Serve as a liaison between customers and internal departments to solve issues.Coordinate customer inspections and visits, including scheduling, logistics, accommodations, and meal arrangements.Support hosting customer engagement activities and assist in inventory purchasing and control.Manage high volumes of email and document correspondence accurately and efficiently.Essential SkillsStrong communication, organization, and time management skills.Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle for guest transportation when needed.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.At least one year of experience in customer service, sales coordination, or logistics.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with ERP systems (e.g., M2M).Familiarity with international trade regulations.Basic data analysis skills and experience assisting in sales reporting.Participation in cross-functional improvement initiatives.Understanding of Incoterms 2020 and international shipping documentation.Work EnvironmentThis role is fully onsite from 8am to 4:30pm, with flexibility for later hours if necessary for inventory or tradeshows. The position involves working alongside three other inside sales team members and reporting to the director. The environment is dynamic, offering opportunities for professional growth and development.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $28.00 - $30.00/hr.
