How You’ll Make an Impact   

Troubleshoot, maintain and support network elements and connections to ensure optimum performance and service deliveryInstall, configure and operate headend equipment, including coaxial, fiber and Ethernet cabling, adhering to proper engineering practicesMonitor and maintain environmental systems such as HVAC, power, fire suppression and coordinate with vendors for reliable operationsConduct root cause analysis, perform acceptance testing and handle escalated trouble calls for network and facility issuesMaintain logs, records and documentation to comply with Spectrum and FCC technical requirementsExecute daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly testing, logging and facility inspections according to Spectrum proceduresDevelop and implement network enhancements and support backup power systems, utilizing advanced troubleshooting tools

Education  

Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics/Technology or Sciences or equivalent work experience preferredNCTI Fiber Installation & Activation Course, Valid Certification from the Society of Cable Telecommunication Engineers (SCTE) BTCS, and NCTI Fiber Testing & Maintenance Course or NCTI Master Technician Certification

Experience   

4+ years of Headend Technician, Network implementation or electronics work experience
