Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant for Inpatient Rehab/Hospitalist Genesis West Campus

MercyOne Genesis Medical Center has an exciting opportunity!

Collaborate with physicians to provide assessment, management or referral of health problems 

Collaborate with NP, nursing and therapy staff regarding patient presentation
Round on patients at GMC-West on the Rehab Unit

Average 10-15 patients daily

Variety of diagnoses: Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Cardiac, Debility, Amputation

No procedures performed or required

Current hours are M-F 7am-7pm but flexible on onsite hours

Experience needed: Medical management of Diabetes, HTN, Cardiac and pulmonary conditions.  Management of deteriorating conditions if patient experiences decline in medical presentation
