Innovation Technology Manager

Provide direction and leadership for site Automation activities and new technologies development, guaranteeing alignment with GMP, Compliance, EHS regulation and Cybersecurity; coordinates activities by assigning specific objectives and monitoring their achievement. Champion for technology Innovation.

Primary Responsibilities

Define the development strategy for automation and new technologies on the Site.Manage his team for the identification, developing e completing of Automation and new technologies projects, respecting costs, timing and standardsManage the spending budget of department and the assigned Capital projects and identify cost savings initiativesTogether with other departments develops the strategy for asset care and for new investments (automation and new technologies)Point of contact between site and network for initiatives of innovative technologies and automationResponsible for developing the skills of his team on new technologiesWith the team assure the completion and management of Computer System Validation activitiesEnsures the effectiveness of department proceduresIs responsible, within the scope of department activities, for compliance with the provisions regarding Safety, Health and EnvironmentCoordinates activities to ensure the reliability of machines, plants and systems in the Automation fieldComplies with the training plan and the development program of their own and their team's skillsDrive a culture of continuous technology improvement focused on manufacturing and customer serviceComplies with ALCOA principles

Qualifications:

Master's degree in engineering (preferred master's degree in automation, computer science or similar).  At least 10 years directly related experience in pharmaceutical manufacturingExcellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skillsFluent in EnglishFluent in Italian - nice to have
