Innovation Planner - Unilever International

Main Job Purpose

Responsible for leading the overall supply planning function for Korea based business in Unilever International. Key job scope includes:

Operational Planning for innovations and supply planningCapacity Interlocking to support business growth (both medium term and long term)Sourcing Network OptimizationInventory PlanningPerformance Management

Key Accountabilities

Support the development and implementation of supply chain plansMonitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely deliveryCollaborate with various teams to optimize supply chain processesMaintain accurate records of inventory, orders, and shipmentsHelp identify and resolve supply chain issuesGenerate reports and provide insights for decision-makingLead the network meeting to strengthen collaboration

Operational Supply Planning

Identify short-term capacity issues and highlight the same to the business. Prepare contingency plans by offering products from alternate SUsLoss Tree Analysis & Ensure successful implementation of Innovations on time in full (OTIF)Monitor and lead the offshore supply planning operations.

Sourcing Network Optimization

Sign off the UI sourcing strategy with the global supply chain teamWork with relevant teams and Global Supply Chain teams to identify opportunities for sourcing network optimization basis predefined selection criteria (service, cost, etc)Drive supply chain cost reduction through sourcing network optimization

Demand Planning

Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality productsE2E execution of Planning Team StrategyCollaboration with CD, Marketing, Finance to incorporate key initiatives into the demand forecastMonitor and manage pro-actively for NPD launches, portfolio changes, promotions and other eventsOptimal use of demand planning support systems (Anaplan)Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to monitor supply chain performance, track product development milestones, and measure successLead continuous improvement initiatives to streamline supply chain processes, reduce lead times, and enhance operational efficiency

Skills and Experience

ESSENTIAL

Bachelor’s degree in engineering or supply chain7-9 yrs experience in Supply Chain out of which at least 4-5 yrs in supply planningStrong analytical skillsStrong Interpersonal skills

PREFERRED

· Candidates with APICS certification
