Innovation Partnerships Specialist Senior

**General Summary**
Performs diversified duties to support partnership development, venture relationships, and portfolio management activities within the Innovation department. Provides operational, analytical, and coordination support to ensure effective collaboration between the organization, portfolio companies, and internal stakeholders. Supports the execution of innovation and venture partnership initiatives by maintaining current awareness of project and company progress, coordinating across internal teams and external partners, and preparing portfolio reporting and communications. Plays a key role in ensuring leadership has timely, accurate information on venture collaborations and innovation initiatives. Works closely with innovation leadership, internal departments, and external venture partners to facilitate collaboration, maintain strong partner relationships, and support the operational management of the venture portfolio.
**Duties and Responsibilities**
**Essential Functions:**
+ Supports innovation partnership activities by coordinating collaboration between internal teams, external venture partners, and portfolio companies.
+ Develops and manages quarterly portfolio company update reports, synthesizing information from internal stakeholders and external partners to provide leadership with clear insights into company performance, collaboration progress, and key developments.
+ Maintains up-to-date awareness of portfolio company activities, partnership initiatives, and project progress by working across teams, departments, and functions to gather relevant information and updates.
+ Assists in monitoring the performance, growth, and collaboration outcomes of portfolio companies and venture initiatives.
+ Coordinates with internal operational, clinical, and technical teams to track the status of innovation pilots, partnership initiatives, and portfolio company engagements.
+ Supports the preparation of materials for leadership updates, governance meetings, and innovation strategy discussions, including portfolio summaries, project status updates, and partnership performance reports.
+ Maintains organized documentation related to venture partnerships, portfolio company activities, collaboration agreements, and innovation initiatives.
+ Assists with research and monitoring of health technology, venture, and innovation trends to support partnership development and strategic initiatives.
+ Assists with preparation of presentations and briefing materials for governance meetings, leadership discussions, and innovation program updates.
+ Maintains tracking tools and internal systems that provide visibility into venture portfolio status, partnership activities, and project progress.

**Travel Requirements:**
+ Estimated Amount: 10% - Ability to travel periodically for vendor engagements, conference participation, etc.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Education:**
+ Bachelors Degree Required
**Work Experience:**
+ 5 years Experience in business operations, partnerships, program coordination, innovation support, venture support, or related roles. Required
+ 5 years Experience working in healthcare innovation, venture ecosystems, startup collaboration, or strategic partnership. Preferred or
+ 7 years Experience in business operations, partnerships, program coordination, innovation support, venture support, or related roles. Preferred
**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:**
+ Strong organizational and project coordination skills and written communication and reporting skills.
+ Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and information streams.
+ Ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
+ Interest in healthcare innovation, venture development, and emerging health technologies.
+ Familiarity with venture ecosystems, startups, or innovation partnerships preferred.
