We are looking for an Ink Technician for the 12 hour rotation. The work schedule is 7p-7a in a two week rotation.  . The Ink Technician supplies and formulates inks and solvents to printing presses to produce a quality product and meet customer specifications.

Mixing and preparation of inks for production.

Accurate documentation of formula files.

Examine job orders to determine quantities, stock specification, colors or special printing instructions.

Verify the substrate and ink meet the specifications for a given job.

Color matching.

Monitor inventory levels on a regular basis, ordering or requesting additional supplies, as necessary.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience formulating inks for the printing industry.

Working with back lit color formulations.

Familiarity in using different types of color measurement tools.

Proficient in Excel and Word
