Injury Prevention Program Manager

Job Summary:

The Injury Prevention Program Manager is responsible for leading the development, implementation, and evaluation of the Trauma System's Injury Prevention and Trauma Survivors Network programs to ensure
trauma centers have the tools, resources, support, and programs to meet or exceed American College of Surgeons verification requirements and State of Colorado and Kansas designation requirements. In
addition, the program manager will lead the hospital-level Injury Prevention and Trauma Survivors Network programs. In this role, the program manager will work closely with the Group Directors of Trauma, Trauma Program
Managers, and RN Trauma Injury Prevention Specialists to strategically develop, implement, and lead systemwide programs, projects, campaigns, and partnerships that align with the health system's prevention strategy and will be actualized in communities by the local trauma programs.


Job Requirements

In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following:

Education Requirements:

BSN required

Masters Degree preferred

Minimum Experience Requirements:

Five years nursing experience
Two years of public health and/or community prevention program leadership
Strong knowledge of public health principles and prevention strategies

Grant writing experience
Public speaking and teaching experience

License/Certifications Requirement

Current RN license required

BLS from AHA required

Physical Requirements
Medium Work - exert/lift up to 50 lbs. force occasionally, and/or up to 20 lbs. frequently, and/or up to 10
lbs. constantly
