Job Description:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Sets up injection molding machines in anticipation of the molding process, ensuring correct parameters are set for the specific part being moldedSetting molds, dies, etc., to conform to scheduled requirements, to include leaving the workstation clean and organized, with quality parts coming from the process, while minimizing downtime. Clears the production line of previous product materials, tools, and instructions, preparing it for the new partPerforms mold cleaning according to schedule and as needed to maintain optimal performance. Performs routine repairs and preventative maintenance on production machinery.Troubleshoot and solve minor molding process conditions (short shots, flash, burns, etc.) to ensure quality and prevent non-conformance.Adjust, maintain and troubleshoot automated equipment to maximize utilization. Work closely with setup technicians and operators to ensure proper operation of equipment.Collaborate with Plant Leaders to stop molding process due to quality concerns.Completes necessary paperwork timely and accurately. Accurately records use of spare parts to guarantee proper inventory is maintained.Follow setup sheets, record any changes made, and provide suggestions to Process Engineers.Train new/current technicians to increase machine knowledge.Ensures good housekeeping and organization of production floor.Follows all safety guidelines.
Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED or equivalent work experience required.Minimum 2 years relevant manufacturing experience in plastic injection molding environment preferred.Minimum 2 years related basic problem solving and processing skills in relation to injection molding and automation equipment.Exposure to scientific injection molding process monitoring methodology preferred.Understanding of injection molding machine(s) and auxiliary equipment operations and repair preferred.Understanding of robotics, hydraulics, pneumatics, and/or electric systems for both relay and solid-state machinery preferred.Strong problem solving and analytical skills.Good communication both written and verbal skills. Must possess mechanical aptitude and ability to adapt and learn. Familiarity with robots.Understanding of OSHA requirements (i.e. Lockout/Tagout, Forklift).Must be able to work a flexible schedule which includes overtime and weekends.Must have ability to provide their own basic tools (allen wrenches, socket sets, etc.).

Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 poundsMust be able to stand for full manufacturing shift, ability to reach with arms extended and/or overhead, excellent hand dexterity, ability to bend, stoop, stretch and similar activitiesAbility to accommodate occasional flexible schedule when required. Must be able to safely operate required equipment for performing job functions

Compensation Information:
This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this role. Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, market level, other job-related factors, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law. As applicable this role will also receive overtime compensation and may be eligible for shift premium compensation.
Pay Range: $21.00 - $33.00

In addition, employees can qualify for vacation, sick, and holiday compensation benefits.
Vacation - up to 80 hours of time within first year
Sick - up to 40 hours of time within first year
Floating Holiday - up to 8 hours of time within first year
Holiday - 10 paid holidays per year, these holidays are selected by the Division
