Your responsibilities:
Engineer with a deep interaction with plant operations but also supports department's needs.
Participate in the assessment, evaluation and planning projects where safety, ergonomics, quality, productivity and environmental are essentials.
Perform research and design of manufacturing processes including production flow, material handling, fabrication and assembly.
Identify opportunities or implement changes to improve production process to reduce costs using knowledge of fabrication processes, tooling and production equipment, assembly methods, quality control standards, or product design, materials and parts.
Implement technical solutions including statistical methodologies to meet customers requirements concerning quality, delivery and cost.
Standardize processes and production methods between multiple factories to reach the best way to do it, intercompany best practices approach.
Interface with strategic organizations for executing time sensitive projects to maximize manufacturing capabilities while creating resiliency within the company.
Provide technical leadership and mentorship to process/maintenance technicians, operators and people assigned to the area.
Work with equipment and material vendor to solve equipment and material issues.
Support advance manufacturing teams abroad to install new tools, machines, and equipment in local facilities.
Develop, test or source and cost-justifies tools, machinery and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and efficiency improvement.
You will have:
Industrial, mechanical, manufacturing, materials or related career engineer.
3 to 5 years of practical experience in Injection molding operation.
Diverse technical background in injection molding processing, tooling, equipment, safety, materials, manufacturing and quality.
Advanced English, fluent conversations and able to lead operational and technical committees.
Lean Manufacturing Knowledge
Experience and approach for DFM desired.
AutoCAD, Moldflow, CAD software skills.
Understanding of ERP, SAP preferred.
Knowledge of MES.
Understanding of cost and finance concepts. CAPEX management and execution.
Ability to lead, responsibilities may include indirect supervision of process technicians.
