Chemours is seeking a Reliability Electric Engineer to join our growing Titanium Technologies team!  Located at our Altamira site.

The Reliability Maintenance Engineer is responsible for ensuring maximum availability and efficiency of production equipment by implementing preventive, predictive, and continuous improvement maintenance strategies. This role works closely with multidisciplinary teams to identify, analyze, and resolve failures, contributing to site safety and productivity.

The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

Develop and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs for critical equipment.Conduct root cause analyses (RCA) of failures and propose effective solutions.Implement reliability strategies such as RCM (Reliability Centered Maintenance) and TPM (Total Productive Maintenance).Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), such as MTBF, MTTR, and equipment availability.Collaborate with engineering, operations, and safety teams to identify improvement opportunities.Manage reliability improvement projects and lead initiatives to reduce costs from unplanned failures.Maintain updated technical documentation and failure analysis reports.Promote a culture of safety and compliance with Chemours internal policies.Ensuring electrical system reliability.Fault analysis, short-circuit studies, and protection coordination.Electrical switching for power distribution.Relay installation, programming, and commissioning.Commissioning of electrical substations.SKM software for industrial electrical network modeling.Engineering development.

The following is required for this role:

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical EngineeringAt least 5 years of work experience with Electrical Power Systems.Strong understanding of Load flow Analysis and Arc Flash Analysis.Experience in electrical safety leader.    Good verbal and interpersonal communication skills.Fluent in English.
