Infusion Coordinator

In conjunction with the Nurse Practitioner, theInfusion Intake Coordinatorwill be responsible for coordination and scheduling of AIC nursing visits, tracking nurse administered infusions and authorizations, timely clearance of new referrals, and purchasing AIC supplies for the warehouse. The Intake Coordinator will report to the General Manager and work in ourOrlando, FL branch. • Medical, Dental & Vision Benefits plus, HSA & FSA Savings Accounts• Supplemental Coverage – Accident, Critical Illness and Hospital Indemnity Insurance• 401(k) Retirement Plan with Employer Match• Company paid Life and AD&D Insurance, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability• Employee Discounts• Tuition Reimbursement• Paid Time Off & Holidays Responsibilities + Coordinates regularly scheduled nursing visits and orders with Nurse Practitioners as well as Pharmacy staff + Processes Mosaic Infusion Therapy referrals + Communicates with Nurse Practitioners and Pharmacy staff regarding referral status + Ensures all intake forms are complete and accurate + Obtains authorizations required by payers + Notifies patients about coverage and payment responsibilities + Maintains confidentiality of patient and proprietary information + Stocks warehouse equipment and reports inventory to supervisor Qualifications + High School Diploma or GED; Associate degree or some college preferred + Knowledge of insurance verification and pre-certification procedures, warehouse, and/or distribution inventory management + Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills + Computer proficiency About our Line of Business Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services, is a specialty infusion company focused on providing complex pharmaceutical products and clinical services to patients outside of the hospital.
