We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Level 2 Infrastructure Support Engineer to join our Cloud Operations team. This role is ideal for someone with deep experience in AWS, Linux/Windows systems, and DevOps practices, combined with strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. You will play a key role in maintaining mission-critical systems, resolving incidents, and ensuring the reliability and performance of cloud infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesProvide Level 2 support for AWS-hosted infrastructure and services.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across Linux and Windows environments.
Manage and optimize AWS services (RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, Amazon MQ).
Support and maintain Tomcat application servers.
Collaborate with DevOps teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and automate infrastructure tasks.
Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures.
Maintain system documentation, SOPs, and incident logs.
Participate in on-call rotations and escalate issues as needed.
Technical Skills & ExperienceAWS Infrastructure: 5+ years
Linux/Windows Administration: 3+ years
Troubleshooting: 4+ years
DevOps Practices: 3+ years
AWS Services: RDS, IAM, CloudWatch, MQ
Application Support: Tomcat
Scripting & Automation: Python, Bash, PowerShell (preferred)
Monitoring Tools: CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
AWS certifications (e.g., SysOps Administrator, Solutions Architect) are a plus.
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
Preferred AttributesExperience in multi-account AWS environments.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
Exposure to containerized environments (Docker, Kubernetes).
Understanding of ITIL or similar incident/change management frameworks.
