You will define the scope and vision for projects that deliver customized solutions, leveraging your knowledge of IBM and non-IBM cloud and on-premises platforms. In this role, you will be responsible for managing cloud infrastructure and supporting cloud migration initiatives; moreover, you will act as a technical liaison among IT Architects, IT Analysts, technical resources, and project stakeholders. Following a well-structured implementation process, you will work on customer requirements gathering, understand risks and client pain points, carry out Proof of Concept (PoC) implementations, and guide the development toward a baseline solution implementation. You will have access to the latest education, tools, and technologies, as well as a clear career path within the world’s leading technology company. **Required technical and professional expertise** As an Infrastructure Specialist, we are looking for candidates with the following background and skills: * Strong Linux system administration skills, including operational activities on Linux machines, usage of system utilities, shell scripting, and familiarity with VI editor. * Hands-on experience with Grafana (version 11 or earlier), including installation and configuration on Linux environments, as well as installation, configuration and usage of third-party plugins. * Hands-on experience with Prometheus, including installation and configuration in Linux environments. * Knowledge of programming languages, preferably Java or Golang, for the development of custom Prometheus exporters. * Solid knowledge of Java as a core programming skill. * Basic to intermediate knowledge of HTML, for dashboard customization and UI-related activities. * Knowledge of one or more cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, IBM Cloud or Red Hat Platform). * Understanding of Cloud Component services including Computer, Storage, Networking and Application Monitoring systems. * Experience in provisioning infrastructure considering cloud native architecture and deployment models. * Understanding of DevOps practices. * Ability to produce high-quality documentation related to solution design and implementation. * Intermediate knowledge of English language. * Good interpersonal and communication skills. **Preferred technical and professional experience** In particular, are very appreciated: * Certifications in a public Cloud platform (e.g. Azure, AWS, Google, IBM Cloud) IBM is committed to creating a diverse environment and is proud to be an equal-opportunity employer.
