Infrastructure Project Manager
The Technology Infrastructure Project Manager leads complex, enterprise‑scale infrastructure initiatives across the client. This role partners closely with cross‑functional technology and business teams to ensure alignment with organizational objectives while driving successful planning, execution, and delivery of infrastructure solutions. The ideal candidate brings deep experience managing large‑scale IT infrastructure programs, strong project leadership capabilities, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders. **Location: Owings Mills, MD.** **Hybrid: 2 days onsite.** **Key Responsibilities** + Lead the end‑to‑end planning, execution, and delivery of multiple concurrent infrastructure initiatives, ensuring projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. + Manage all core project management activities, including project planning, reporting, scope management, estimation, risk and issue tracking, dependency management, and transition to production for high‑complexity technology projects. + Drive collaboration between technical teams (network, server, storage, cloud, security) and business partners to ensure solutions meet technical and business requirements. + Facilitate project governance, stakeholder meetings, and executive‑level updates, delivering clear and concise communication on progress, risks, issues, and mitigation strategies. + Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and third‑party service delivery required to support infrastructure initiatives. + Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory standards, and security requirements throughout the project lifecycle. + Proactively identify and resolve project risks, issues, and conflicts, escalating appropriately when needed. + Prepare and deliver presentations to project sponsors, steering committees, and senior leadership. + Continuously improve project management methodologies, processes, tools, and best practices across the infrastructure portfolio. **Required Qualifications** + Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred. + PMP or PMI certification required. + 10+ years of experience leading complex IT infrastructure projects, preferably within a financial services or regulated environment. + Proven success delivering projects involving networking, servers, virtualization, cloud platforms, and data center operations. + Strong working knowledge of ITIL principles, cybersecurity standards, and enterprise infrastructure best practices. + Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence across organizational levels. + Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment. + Proficiency with project management tools such as **Microsoft Project, Jira, and Microsoft Planner** . + Strong negotiation skills and the ability to drive outcomes across cross‑functional teams. + High degree of adaptability and sound judgment in dynamic and evolving environments. + Proven ability to quickly learn business processes and partner effectively with technical and business stakeholders. + Strong risk assessment capabilities with the ability to apply project management principles to both technology platforms and business applications. + Experience delivering technology and business solutions within large‑scale, multi‑platform enterprise environments.
