We are currently looking for an Infrastructure Facility Management Services Engineer (HVAC Engineer) in Neuchatel, Switzerland. In this position, you will be responsible for ensuring continuous and safe operation of utilities equipment and systems via proper organization and coordination of employees and/or outsourced services.
You will organize, plan and monitor execution of preventive, corrective maintenance and repair of all utility installations to secure continuous production, high productivity and excellent quality of utilities, keeping costs minimized.
More specifically, you will:
Adhere 100% to all Sustainability policies and procedures. Respect health and safety legislation requirements. In cooperation with Sustainability department, coordinate all energy inspections and revisions required by state authorities.Ensure correct operation and maintenance of utilities equipment and systems in order to have uninterrupted supply of electricity, steam, gas, water and other energy sources for the site. Monitor and optimize operation of engineering systems equipment to ensure rational use of energy sources. Ensure timely execution and reporting of IPM (Integrated Pets Management) activities and results.Develop maintenance strategies. Ensure accurate input, update and completion of maintenance plans and activities.Support preparation and implementation of all utilities projects. Prepare all necessary technical data for external suppliers and internal partners (Project team, Quality, Manufacturing etc.).Stay up to date on modern technologies in Engineering. Implement improvements and upgrades for Building Management System software and hardware.Manage, update and optimize all energy processes including environmental aspects and impacts. Responsible for monitoring water consumption, wastewater discharge and CO2 air emissions and follow-up of environmental projects with respect to the legal requirements. Check and control all activities connected with utilities operation to ensure compliance with legal requirements.Supervise, organize, control and evaluate the work of in-house or outsourced personnel.Prepare proper analysis related to the costs of the utilities operation and maintenance in order to ensure accurate preparation of the annual and LRP budgets.Communicate in timely manner on loss elimination priorities, plans and responsibilities to ensure multi-functional alignment. Share knowledge and methods to encourage and foster benchmarking, reapplication and continuous improvement.Maintain the standardization level of utility and support system equipment by ensuring that no change to the design is implemented unless duly validated through centralized change management process
We’re looking for someone with:
University degree in Engineering (HVAC, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, etc)2 years professional experience in Engineering department, industrial environment and/or facility management / building utilities operation.Desired experience in asset management, contractors management, , utilities equipment managementFormal education in HVAC or CVC processes and/or equipment is a plusProficiency in French (oral & written) and in English (oral), written is an asset
