Key Responsibilities

Contributes to design, development, troubleshooting, debugging, evaluating, modifying, deploying, and documenting software and systems that meet the needs of customer-facing applications, business applications, and/or internal end user applications.
Perform technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including design, developing prototypes, and coding assignmentsFamiliar with Agile or other rapid application development methodsExperience with design and coding across one or more platforms and languages as appropriateHands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testingLead code reviews and automated testingDebug software components and identify code defects for remediationLeads the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments.Explore and innovate new solutions to modernize platformsCollaborates with leadership across multiple teams to define solution requirements and technical implementation Engineering & ArchitectureDemonstrate technical expertise to help team members overcome technical problemsSolves technical problems outside of day-to-day responsibilitiesTakes accountability for the success of the team achieving their goalsDrives the team’s strategy and prioritizes initiativesInfluence team members by challenging status quo, demonstrating risk taking, and implementing innovative ideasBe a productivity multiplier for your team by analyzing your workflow and contributing to enable the team to be more effective, productive, and demonstrate faster and stronger results.

 

Minimum Qualifications/ Must Have

 3 – 5 years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience.Hands-on experience with Python, Golang, HTML and Java 8 or aboveStrong experience in developing UI mockups, experience in React, REST API & Security development.Experience in Event driven programming paradigm using Kafka.Knowledge of Source control (Github, Bitbucket etc). CI/CD (Jenkins, Github Actions)Knowledge of PaaS. Container Concepts (Openshift, Docker).Knowledge of Serverless architecture (Lambda) will be an additional advantage.Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testingBachelor’s degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required, advanced degree.
