The Opportunity:
We are seeking a Top Secret SCI cleared Infrastructure Engineer (DEVOPS) to join a highly energetic and fast-paced team of skilled engineers in Aurora, CO. As a key contributor you will provide critical high-priority solutions needed by the Intelligence Community in support of critical national defense objectives. As a DEVOPS engineer on the Infrastructure team, you will work closely with the Development and SA/Network/Security engineers to ensure software platforms and services are in place, configured correctly, and facilitate necessary processing. You will join a dynamic team highly adept at solving complex problems with the application of leading-edge technology solutions, empowering decision-makers to make mission-critical decisions.
Responsibilities:
Take ownership of processing architecture, system control interfaces, and data products to configure, deploy and maintain software infrastructure (e.g. Kubernetes, systemd services, ansible scripts) to facilitate operationsArchitect, build and maintain on premise and/or cloud infrastructure to support team and customer initiativesMaintain and improve existing infrastructure (build out autoscaling, support new services, optimize for cost efficiencies/authentication/search, etc)Administer production, staging and development environmentsManage and aggregate server logs and monitor for security and system related incidentsLead the charge deploying Kubernetes to an operational system with network limitationsEstablish pipelines (e.g. gitlab runner) to improve the software development life-cycleMonitor and analyze system performance, such as server load and resource usageTake ownership of current system processes, make recommendations for stability and resiliencyMaintain and improve existing build and deployment processes using CI/CD toolsEnforce best practices for security and reliability, and drive security initiatives, like access control and vulnerability testingMaintain up to date documentation of designs/configurations, ensuring team members have continuity of recurring tasksAlways Maintain status of operations; perform after actions reporting on all outages and work with engineering teams to determine solution and root cause analysis. Present findings to management for prioritization and tasking
Qualifications:
Required:
An active Top Secret SCI clearance with the ability to obtain a polygraph5+ years of equivalent experienceBachelors of Science in a scientific, mathematical, or engineering disciplineSignificant experience with: Kubernetes, SystemD, Virtual Machine configuration management, and GitlabStrong troubleshooting skills supporting a mission critical operational environmentLinux ProficiencyDesired:
Experience transitioning applications to government commercial cloud systemsExperience deploying and administering Kubernetes in a high-side, on-prem environment.Experience with config-driven deployments (such as Helm)Experience establishing Gitlab runnersExperience writing scripts to assist with system testing and assessment, productivity and deployments.Experience establishing and managing pipelines to assist with branch management and execution of automated testsExperience implementing Infrastructure as Code solutionsCompetence in languages such as C++ or Python-________________________________________________________________________________________

The proposed salary range for this position is:
