Key job responsibilities · Own the setup and configuration of the servers that power eero’s factories · Act as the liaison between eero manufacturing and eero’s cloud in AWS, connecting the factory and cloud infrastructure · Work closely with eero’s manufacturing team to diagnose and resolve any issues that arise in our factory operations · Ensure that factory servers are kept up-to-date with operating system updates and software patches · Identify processes that require manual work and drive towards automated solutions · Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure that our factory lines stay up and running · Liaise with factories to resolve issues on the ground floor About the team The Infrastructure Engineer at eero is responsible for all of the servers and software needed to manufacture new eero devices and operate existing ones in the cloud. We are looking for the candidate to work closely with eero’s manufacturing team and own the infrastructure on the ground floor of the factories. This role requires strong knowledge of administering Unix systems, as well as strong networking fundamentals to connect the factories to the cloud. This is a great opportunity for someone ready to take significant ownership of some of eero’s most business-critical processes, and ensure we can produce and deliver first-class products to our customers. Basic Qualifications - Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure - Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, Rust - Experience with Linux/Unix - Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes - Experience with networking fundamentals including hands-on experience with load balancers, switches, routers, etc. Preferred Qualifications - Experience with distributed systems at scale Our inclusive culture empowers Amazonians to deliver the best results for our customers.
