About This Opportunity As an Infrastructure Release Manager, you will lead cross-functional teams through critical deployments—such as data center migrations and production transitions—ensuring minimal disruption and maximum efficiency. Responsibilities Drive, status and deliver Infrastructure Release work streams in support of mid to large scale projects requiring direct management and coordination (i.e. data center migrations/modernizations, firmware upgrades, storage additions, etc.) as they transition into the Production Environment. Plan, document and publish high-level release schedules for enterprise-wide stakeholders; track ongoing and upcoming Infrastructure projects and releases. Coordinate internal and external deployment teams for complex multi-team Production migrations and publish deployment results to leadership team. Own infrastructure releases as the effort transitions into the Production Environment, streamlining user experience and minimizing or mitigating potential downtime or service disruptions. Open bridge/conference calls to facilitate deployments, acting as the owner of the change as it transitions into a live environment, enforcing the implementation plan and steps agreed upon by stakeholders. Facilitate release-planning sessions between all teams involved in upcoming infrastructure and datacenter releases. Identify process gaps and work with necessary teams to establish, build, and implement standard processes and procedures to drive operational efficiencies and stability (certificate installations, monthly patching, communications, ticket queues, etc.) Understand customer needs and provide direction to ensure technical solutions are in line with business requirements and established commitments. Support, Monitor and Control delivery of major operational initiatives by ensuring systems, processes and procedures are in place and closely followed. Document issues and lessons learned for each deployment and drive process improvement. Qualifications Experience with ITIL and/or DevOps best practices Network, VMware, vCenter and/or hyperconverged infrastructure experience desired but not required PMP Certification desired but not required Advanced skills in Microsoft Office software, including MS Excel, Visio and Project Self-motivated and results oriented Must have experience managing multiple tasks, projects and releases simultaneously Proven ability to work independently Strong attention to detail in all aspects of documentation Ability to work in a high-pressure environment with short release cycles, with knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle Ability to see the interrelationships of projects across "the big picture" Demonstrated success communicating across a variety of audiences, including businesspeople and technologists (both up and down the organization), with the ability to communicate to Executive-Level audiences Strong communication and analytical skills with the ability to be able to clearly communicate via email, phone and in-person Demonstrated creative thinking and technical solutioning, reducing or mitigating potential impact to end users and customers Required work experience in a Release Based capacity Must possess excellent organizational and follow-up skills Off hour/overnight work schedule to facilitate Production releases may be required InComm provides equal employment opportunities (EEO) to all employees and applicants for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or national origin, citizenship, veteran’s status, age, disability status, genetics or any other category protected by federal, state, or local law. *This position is eligible for the Employee Referral Bonus Program-Tier 4
