The Apple Information Security (AIS) team is responsible for developing services to find and mitigate security risks faced by Apple. We are seeking extraordinary engineers with multi-faceted skills in software development, networking, data science and computing infrastructure to create tools, services, and frameworks critical to this charter.
Apple's InfoSec Development Program (ISDP) is a two year rotational program that offers a completely customizable series of assignments. Upon completion of the program, you will use your experiences in advanced roles across the organization. The program provides opportunities for hands on learning with a variety of teams in a rapidly growing and dynamic setting. You will have the opportunity to meet with Information Security Leaders as well as build community among your peers by attending educational and social events.
**Description**
A few of the things you could work on:
- Design, develop, and implement security controls and tools that improve the defense of Apple’s infrastructure and applications
- Manage and improve critical security infrastructure services for authentication, logging, security monitoring, and detection
- Provide security assurance across the entirety of Apple via penetration testing, adversary simulation, threat modeling, and security automation
- Lead ground breaking security efforts at a scale you’ll only be able to find at Apple
- Work multi-functionally with teams throughout Apple on technology and initiatives to improve security and bring security standard methodologies to our products and services
- Develop production infrastructure fixes to complex vulnerabilities and design architectures to minimize business risks
**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Undergraduate or graduate degree in CS, CE, ECE, EECS, IS, IT, or other related fields of study.
**Preferred Qualifications**
+ Strong software design, problem solving and debugging skills
+ Experience with one or more programming languages such as C/C++, JavaScript, Go and Python
+ Passion for high-quality code, tests, CI/CD, documentation, and production services
+ Excellent interpersonal skills, and the capability of working with multiple technical and business teams and varying levels of management
+ Passionate about information security and keeping Apple’s customers safe
+ Act with high ethical standards and integrity
**Pay & Benefits**
At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $121,300 and $183,200, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
