Yes County Schenectady Street Address 500 Balltown Rd., Bldg 4, Fl 2 City Schenectady State NY Zip Code 12304 Duties Description ITS provides operational support to state agencies on a 24x7x365 basis; some positions may be required to provide this critical service at any time.Under the direction of a Director/Manager of Client Engagement SG-27, the Information Technology Specialist 4/Customer Relationship Manager SG-25 will be responsible for day-to-day IT operations and service delivery, supporting one or more larger/more complex ITS client agencies. To ensure agency IT needs are met by ITS, the following work will be required: • Interface with agency IT liaisons and agency executives, address agency IT issues and coordinate IT initiatives and provide insight into the agency customer experience with ITS.• Manage the agency IT governance process and ensure that the Customer Relationship Managers facilitate the standard project work intake process. • Coordinate the agency IT governance process and facilitate ITSM project new ideas and demands as part of the standard project work intake process. • Manage the standard incident management process, to address agency escalations from junior Customer Relationship Managers regarding ITS services incidents and gather information related to business impact and act as the agency Incident Communicator as needed, for which for which work outside of standard business hours should be expected. • Act on high priority requests escalated by junior Customer Relationship Managers. • Maintain communication for service request escalations, site survey requests, letters of intent (LOI), application and technical issues and enterprise initiatives. • Perform a full range of supervisory duties. Minimum Qualifications Open to NYS employees with one year of permanent competitive service as an Information Technology Specialist 4, SG25 OR in a position at the SG23 level or higher deemed administrative under Section 52.6 of Civil Service Law OR in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in advancement of more than two salary grades. Additional Comments ITS will not offer permanent employment to any candidate unless the candidate provides documentation that they are authorized to accept work in the United States on a permanent basis.
