In an Abstract Master’s Degree Internship, you’ll help lead us into tomorrow and build the foundations of a rewarding career along the way. **What You’ll Do** As a Data Scientist, you'll analyze the current process flow of a building and identify data points. Using historical and real-time data, you'll create models that improve how we work at UPS. Can you surpass human planners? Here, you’ll have the opportunity to learn and work on the following business case: **Eindhoven Hub Process Model (ENDHPM)** One of the main distribution hubs of UPS, for ground transport is located at Eindhoven in the Netherlands. We are building an AI Powered Optimization System of the sorting process in Eindhoven facility. An existing AI powered simulator simulates the package flow in the warehouse using various Machine Learning models. We also have models which predicts the time taken for packages to be sorted from point of induction to their final destinations. You would be building an AI agent, which can run simulations with various combinations of the warehouse configuration and find the optimal one to minimize the sorting time. You would build a GUI, which would help the Warehouse teams to interact with the simulator to try various warehouse parameters, breakdowns. Are you up to the challenge?
