Information Systems Technician

Johnson Service Group is looking for an Information Systems Technician for one of our clients in San Jose. This person will provide technical assistance to end users by troubleshooting, configuring, and maintaining computer hardware, software, and related systems.
Responsibilities: Assist, evaluate, troubleshoot, setup and configure end user computer hardware and software Provide remote technical support over the phone or network/internet Answer, diagnose, troubleshoot and assign calls to the IT helpdesk hotline Open, maintain and close work orders utilizing the ServiceNow ITSM platform Maintain inventory of computer parts, peripherals and supplies Move or relocate computers, peripherals and accessories Qualifications: Intermediate computer skills with experience as a Help Desk or IT Desktop Technician Knowledge and technical support experience of Windows 10/11 Experience in troubleshooting computer hardware/software problems Experience with enterprise office productivity suite (Microsoft Office365) Advanced customer relations skills Good verbal and written communication skills Ability to control and manage several tasks simultaneously Strong analytical and decision-making skill Requirements:
Level I: 30 semester units in computer science or related field (college or vocational) No experience required Relevant IT or A/V experience may substitute for the college on a one year and one-half for one year basis education (1.5:1 ratio) Valid California driver’s license Level II: 30 semester units in computer science or related field (college or vocational) 3 years of IT and/or A/V technical support experience Relevant IT or A/V experience may substitute for the college on a one year and one-half for one year basis education (1.5:1 ratio) Valid California driver’s license Full-time, 6 month contract
Level I: $ 34.92
Level II: $40.49
