Your Mission
Join ClearEdge as an Information Systems Security Officer supporting the Signals Analysis Division. You’ll play a key role in maintaining system compliance, improving security posture, and supporting a fast-paced prototype development program. We rapidly develop and integrate solutions, helping our customers stay ahead of emerging threats and needs.You Will Excel in This Role If You Are:A proactive cybersecurity professional with strong RMF and NIST 800-53 knowledgeComfortable managing multiple SSPs while staying detail-orientedSkilled at collaborating with engineers, administrators, and mission teamsAble to work independently with minimal supervisionConfident in identifying and resolving security issues in fast-moving environmentsA Day in the Life Of:Conduct security assessments and regular system auditsMaintain System Security Plans (SSPs) and related documentationSupport security reaccreditation efforts in collaboration with the ISSMTrack and remediate system vulnerabilitiesMonitor system compliance through continuous monitoring activitiesEnsure that consistent and repeatable security processes are followedMust Haves:Active TS/SCI with PolygraphMaster's degree with 3+ years of relevant experience, orBachelor's degree with 5+ years of relevant experience, orAssociate's degree with 7+ years of relevant experience, orHigh school diploma with 9+ years of relevant experienceIAM Level I certification (e.g., Security+ CE, CAP, GSLC)Experience with NIST 800-53 controls and RMF complianceUnderstanding of defense-in-depth principles and system security architecturesFamiliarity with network monitoring and audit practicesNice to Have:Experience with STE/STN requirementsFamiliarity with continuous monitoring tools and vulnerability scannersExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience preparing systems for reaccreditationBackground supporting secure operational environmentsAbout us: We are an experienced advanced analytic development company providing Cyber solutions to current and emerging missions.
